What is SPF?
Sun Protection Factor - A scale for rating the level of sunburn protection in sunscreen products. The higher the SPF value is, the more protection it provides.
Values of 2 through 11 provide minimal protection.
Values of 12 through 29 provide moderate protection.
Values of 30 or higher provide the highest level of protection.
